Born and raised on Long Island in New York, my mother taught me how to sew, knit, crochet and embroider. I never felt that I do any of it as well as she did. When I moved to Colorado and left the garment industry in New York after attending FIT, I needed a creative outlet while working as an office manager in real estate at Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty.  So, I started making hats & scarves and giving them to friends as gifts. Then, I got up the nerve to approach a few stores in Aspen and my tiny business grew into a little business. Now, I make Colorado flag hats, baby hats and much more. I sometimes add the aspen leaf as a salute to the town in which I live. And, yes, I do knit and crochet on my couch in my living room while watching TV with Erik.
